FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Youth Entrepreneur Marketplace — Parent & Vendor Guide

Dream Builders Festival  |  Saturday, July 25, 2026  |  6041 Mableton Pkwy SW, Mableton, GA 30126

Q: Does my child keep all the money they earn?

A: Yes! Every dollar your child earns at their booth is theirs to keep. Your child sets their prices, makes their sales, and walks away with their earnings. That’s the whole point.

Q: Can I help my child run their booth?

A: Parents are welcome to be present for support, but we strongly encourage children to take the lead. Let them talk to customers, handle transactions, and make decisions — the real-world experience is what makes this event so powerful.

Q: What if my child has never sold anything before?

A: That’s exactly who this event is for! Our free pre-event planning meetups are designed to help first-time young entrepreneurs prepare with confidence. We meet them where they are and help them get ready.

Q: What forms of payment should my child accept?

A: Your child can accept cash, Venmo, CashApp, Square, or any other method they are comfortable with. Please list accepted payment methods on the registration form and have a plan set up before the event.

Q: What is the registration fee used for?

A: The $25 fee helps cover event production costs including tables, setup, signage, and programming. A portion of sponsorship funding also goes toward youth refreshments, supply assistance, and Shark Tank prizes.
